[SF] Wild-Tending and Nature Awareness

from 50.00

Learn about tending the natural world and all that it provides. Learn to gather and plant seeds, propagate cuttings and create animal habitat. Observe plants, birds, mammal tracks and insects and how nature can produce a bounty of food for humans and animals alike.

We will begin with a story circle. We will play games for being comfortable in nature like owl eyes, deer ears, fox walk, dog nose and racoon touch. Other activities will include a plant walk, learning about edible and poisonous plants and the bio-blitz, getting to know creatures of the creek.

Note: please dress for windy conditions, and have water, a snack, sturdy shoes and a sun hat if necessary.
